- This site is free to use. Everyone can read and rate stories. (Only one rating per story per reader per day.)
- To submit stories and review stories you must register for a free account.
- The author retains all rights to their work, storywar.com is merely here
to show your work and does not retain any rights to the stories submitted.
- Authors can remove their story at any point using the 'delete story'
button in the 'edit stories' section (viewable only to registered members).
- Registered users can submit as many stories as they like every day.
- Max word count for stories is now 3000 words (used to be 1000 but this turned out to be too low)
Do not submit other people's stories - please make sure you have the right to submit your stories.
- Storywar.com is happy to accept stories that have been published
elsewhere, provided the author has the right to submit them.
- Storywar accepts no liability for stories plagiarised from this site, so
please make sure you take the necessary steps to copyright your work before
submission if you worry about this sort of thing.
- We will never share your email address with any third parties. we take
your email address simply to contact you about storywar related issues.
- You must tell as many people about this website in order for it to
succeed. Well you don't have to, but the more people you tell, the more
people will read your short stories, and after all that is what we're here
for..
- This site is run by a human, not a large company, so please feel free to
contact me with any questions or concerns (or perhaps you'd just like a
chat) and I promise to get back to you as soon as possible.
